Saturn Hex
Saturn Hex beret is an opportunity to put your own designer ‘spin’ onto it. It can be knit in one yarn and color, but as you can see by my examples, there’s a myriad of choices you can make with color blocking. It’s also an amazing yarn-stash buster, and the perfect, quick-knitted gift. Along with a chart, I’ve included a Coloring-In Template so that you can audition your colors before committing it to needles. In a DK weight, the dense knit makes a lovely winter head warmer. In fingering weight, it can also be worn throughout the year.
Yardage: 175 yds / 160 m for one color / yarn beret. If you want to substitute another yarn for a garter row (a pair of knit and purl rows), it’s about 17 yds / 16 m per garter row.
