Saturnia Shawl
IFrom time to time I spend the day washing and blocking my knitting treasures ( aka prototypes).
I also rename some of them, since MKAL is not exactly a name, it’s just a definition. Saturnia is in Tuscany, Italy, it is famous for its “thermae”. The yarn I used for the prototype was provided by an Italian indie dyer, iveordyeyarn and one skein of this merino/silk blend beauty (fingering weight) was all I needed for this summer shawlette (it makes a great scarf, too.) After washing and blocking, I decided it deserved some photo shooting update, so, there you go.
If you are tempted to create a summer shawlette out of a precious skein of yarn, now is the time for you to purchase the pattern at 20% off its regular price. No coupon code needed. Offer valid from Friday, 24 May to Sunday, May 26! Happy knitting!
