Satya, translated as Truth in English, is one of the founding pillars of Ghandian philosophy. Being truthful in one’s thoughts, speech and actions was of prime importance to Ghandi and his followers who also radically claimed that “God is Truth.” Diving more deeply into this concept, I discovered that “Truth” isn’t some esoteric idea that is ultimately un-graspable, the idea is as simple as “telling the truth” always and in every circumstance: this leads to peace within our selves and with others.

This hat pattern is inspired by this principle and it’s simple construction is designed to keep cozy an average-sized head as well as highlight the beautiful peaceful blues of Madeline Tosh DK Logwood.
