Saucy Tote
Pattern description from Stitch ‘N Bitch Nation: “I originally made this bag for my friend Melissa’s twenty-seventh birthday. Mel’s mom calls her saucy, hence the name. I wanted a knit bag that had a clean and defined shape (no sagging allowed!). After trying to shape it with cardboard and foam from craft stores, I finally figured out that by using plastic canvas I could keep the shape of the bag and have it still be washable. Kits for making this bag are available at my Web site www.citizenbags.com.”
