Ce modèle est tricoté de la bordure vers la couronne, en une pièce. Elle est toute tricotée en côtes, parfois avec des torsades, parfois classique. Elle apporte une belle douceur et confort grâce à la texture et la bordure. Elle se tricote en calibre dk et très plaisante à concocter.

INSTRUCTIONS
C’est un modèle qui est tricoté du bas vers le haut. Il nécessite de savoir comment créer une double maille (voir les tutoriels pour les chaussettes ayant un talon en rangs raccourcis) - il n’a qu’une seule double maille à créer! C’est grâce à cette technique que l’on peut obtenir le beau rebord replié. Le patron est partiellement en instructions écrites et partiellement en charte pour le rebord.

MATÉRIEL
x Laine : Geny Kean, composition de 70% mérino / 20% bambou / 10% nylon, 115 g / 475 yds / 434 mètres. Vous aurez besoin de (1, 1, 1) 2, 2, 2 écheveaux ou environ (370, 400, 430) 450, 470, 480 mètres de fil fingering ou environ (185, 200, 215) 225, 235, 240 mètres de fil DK. La tuque est tricotée en calibre dk, alors vous devrez doubler votre fil fingering afin d’obtenir le calibre nécessaire. La quantité pour la fingering est déjà doublé. Vous aurez qu’à tricoter avec 2 brins.

x Aiguilles à tricoter : 4 mm / US6

ÉCHANTILLON TRICOTÉ EN ROND
Avec les aiguilles circulaires 4 mm / US6, tricotez 22 mailles x 28 rangs en côtes torsadées* selon la charte située à la page 6, afin d’obtenir un échantillon de 4 po x 4 po / 10 cm x 10 cm. Lavez et bloquez légèrement.

TAILLES DISPONIBLES
(1, 2, 3) 4, 5, 6 qui représentent un tour de tête ayant 0 à 1 po / 0 à 2.5 cm d’aisance négative : (14.5 ; 16.25 ; 18.25) 20 ; 21.75 ; 23.5 pouces ou environ (37 ; 41 ; 46) 51 ; 55 ; 60 cm.

This pattern is knit from the hem to the crown, in one piece. It is all rib knit, with a cable oattern on the edge. It brings a nice softness and comfort due to the texture at the edge. It is knitted in dk gauge and very pleasant to make.

INSTRUCTIONS
This is a pattern that is knit from the bottom up. It requires knowing how to create a double stitch (see tutorials for socks with a heel in shortened rows) - it only has one double stitch to create! This technique is how you get the beautiful folded edge. The pattern is partially in wirtting instructions and in chart form for the edge.

MATERIAL
x Yarn: Geny Kean, 70% merino / 20% bamboo / 10% nylon composition, 115 g / 475 yds / 434 meters. You will need (1, 1, 1) 2, 2, 2 skeins or about (370, 400, 430) 450, 470, 480 meters of fingering yarn or about (185, 200, 215) 225, 235, 240 meters of DK yarn. The hat is knitted in dk gauge, so you will need to double your fingering yarn to get the necessary gauge. The yarn quantity in fingering is already doubled, so you’ll just have to knit with 2 strands of fingering yarn.

x Knitting needles : 4 mm / US6

SWATCH IN THE ROUND
Using 4 mm / US6 circular needles, knit 22 stitches x 28 rows in cabled ribbing* according to the chart on page 6, to obtain a 4” x 4” / 10 cm x 10 cm swatch. Wash and lightly block.
