The illusion technique is a great way to get dramatic results from just the right combination of Knit of Purl stitches. Saundra’s Magic Scarffy was inspired by Ariba, we created the design together and SMotoExpress brought it all together for us.
This pattern includes all the detalls you will need to choose your own design combination using Saundra’s Heart and Paw motif.

skills needed:
basic cast on and bind off methods
knit and purl stitch

yarn:
200-246 yds of DK or Worsted yarn in Main color (~91g, or 182-224 m)
200-246 yds of DK or Worsted yarn in Contrast color (~91g, or 182-224m)
note:
a smooth yarn in colors with strong contrast , provide the best results

finished size:
finished dimensions will vary based on your yarn and design choice , as well as your style of blocking, Expect a scarf 8-9” wide and 60-68” long.

Saundra is my rescued German Shepherd dog, she suffers with severe polyarthritis and is currently unable to stand or walk. Its my hope that with continued physical and hydro therapy she will become strong enough to support herself in a mobility cart, and run around on her own.

All proceeds from the sale of this pattern go directly to support Saundra’s ongoing therapy and the purchase of her Custom mobility cart.
