This a lovely stranded 2-color cowl , knit in the round with Saundra’s Heart and Paw motif. The pattern is written and designed by SMotoExpress as a perfect companion piece to Saundra’s Sweet Heart Hat and Saundra’s Mitts.

No dogs where harmed during these photo shoots , and while this really is made for people to wear , we just cannot resist a fabulous 4-legged model !

Skills Needed:
Stranded Color Work (2 colors) & handling long floats
Working in the round with Circular Needles
Knitted Cast On, Standard Bind Off
Basic Chart reading, Knit and Purl

Yarn:
170 yds. (155 m)(75 g) worsted or DK weight Main Color (MC).
65 yds. (59 m)(28 g) worsted or DK weight Contrasting Color (CC).

Finished Size:
Approximately 9 ½” (24 cm) height x 25 ½” (65 cm) circumference

Saundra is my rescued German Shepherd dog, she suffers with severe polyarthritis and is currently unable to stand or walk. Its my hope that with continued physical and hydro therapy she will become strong enough to support herself in a mobility cart, and run around on her own.

All proceeds from the sale of this pattern go directly to support Saundra’s ongoing therapy and the purchase of her Custom mobility cart.
