This cozy, versatile cardigan works equally as well over pajamas in the early morning as it does over dress pants for a board meeting in the afternoon! No one will ever know…
Sausalito is a simple, oversized cardigan with a multi-colored, lacy, ethnic-looking trim, depending on your color choice. The back and front are knit together, all in one piece, from the multi-colored rib trim to the contrast color shoulder seaming. Stitches are then picked up along the two fronts and back neck to knit the multi-colored, lacy neck trim to match the bottom; it is knitted all in one piece, creating a striking border. The sleeves are knitted flat beginning with the same lacy trim, seamed, and then joined to the body.
