This is a very simple pattern - perfect for a beginner who wants to try something slightly more advanced. The moss stitch allows for the pencil case to hold its shape very well. The pattern, with basic crochet knowledge, can be modified to be bigger or smaller.

You will need a size G hook with any worsted weight yarn. It would look beautiful in variegated yarn!

I used one skein of Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice to make this, and still had a considerable amount of yarn left. Great for a quick gift for a student or for yourself.
