We want to do our part by wearing a facemask, but does it have to be so uncomfortable? With only 1 button, but lots of buttonholes for maximum adjustability.

Hopefully you will find this Face Mask Strap a lifesaver. When we are finally able to ditch the facemasks, perhaps you can use your strap as a bracelet.

Finished measurement: Approx. 7-12” depending on weight of fabric and your gauge. If your mask has tight/close fitting closure, you might want to cast on more stitches. If that is the case, increase by 10 st.

With regard to yarn needed for this project, it depends on the weight of your yarn, but estimate less than 3 yards.

Aside from yarn, you will also need a button. We found a 1” button works best, but wait until you are done before selecting the button as yarn weight and gauge will impact the size of the holes.
