You will need a cable needle.

Pattern is photographed using both Rowan Alpaca Soft DK and Rowan Pure Cashmere. It is suggested that, if you are using the former yarn, that you use size US 3 (3.25 mm) and size US 6 (4.0 mm) needles. If you are using the latter yarn, it is suggested that you use US size 2.5 (3.0 mm) and US 5 (3.775 mm) needles.

AND…. this pattern is also written with options to make flat and seam, or work in the round.
- If you are making this in the round you will need corresponding needles in both a 16” (40 cm) length, and a set of double pointed needles.
