I’ve been playing with the Sawtooth Mountains series of patterns for a few years now, and this year I’ve added a bulky weight version, and this wide and cozy bulky weight headband pattern.

This headband is knit in the round from the bottom up using circular needles. The pattern calls for 2 colors. There are instructions for 3 sizes, youth, teen/adult s/m, and adult l/xl. The height of the headband is the same for all 3 sizes.

Shown in Malabrigo Chunky yarn. Bulky yarn can vary quite a bit, so be sure to gauge swatch and adjust needle size as needed to meet gauge. Note: Tight knitters may want to size up needles for a better fit.
