There’s nothing quite like the nostalgic coziness of an old quilt.

I would have to say that by far my most favorite quilt motif is the Sawtooth star. The Sawtooth Quilt Socks bring a bit of that quilt coziness into simple and engaging knit for quilt lovers.

They are knit cuff-down and feature a flap and gusset heel.
Running down the center front of both socks is a sawtooth star motif, worked as you knit the sock in the Estonian technique known as roosimine.

The motif can be worked in one color or multiple colors, and that makes this pattern an excellent use for those mini skeins you’ve been saving, or for stash scraps!

The pattern features a wide range of sizes from kids small all the way up through adult unisex large.

It’s knit up on size 2.75 mm/ US2 needles, and requires fingering weight yarn.
