Sawyer Mitten/Wristwarmer
The Sawyer Mitten is a simple knit mitten with a ribbed cuff worked in the round on 10mm double pointed needles. The thumb shaping consists of a series of increase stitches (m1r and m1l) which are subsequently held whilst the hand is completed, and then knit to create the thumb. A small amount of sewing, then, is required to close the gap at the base of the thumb.
This knitting pattern actually contains instructions for the equally simple Sawyer Wristwarmer too; a useful knit for those who work outside, or can never put down their phone!
With such a quick work up time, these are a fantastic stash busting knit and make for excellent gifts during the winter months.
SIZE:
Wristwarmer measures approximately 7.25in (18.5cm) long from top to bottom of the cuff.
Mitten measures approximately 10in (25.5cm) long from bottom of cuff to top of mitten.
