Saxon Braid Mittens include a long, twisted rib cuff that weaves beautifully into the cable panel on the back of both mittens. Using 100 grams of worsted weight wool, these mittens will knit up quickly and can easily be made from your stash!

Materials
Yarn: Shepherd’s Mill Worsted
Needles: US#4/ 3.50 mm for cuffs and US#6/ 4.00 mm for body of mitten, ideally knit using the magic loop method on a 40 in long circular needle
Gauge: 20 sts/4in in stocking stitch, 24sts/4 in cable pattern
Notions: stitch markers, cable needle, darning needle
