This scarf pattern creates a scarf with cables on both sides of the fabric--a Saxon Braid cable on one side, and a slightly different interlaced cable on the other. This pattern resulted from my explorations in reversible cables. See this blog post for information on the evolution of the pattern stitch.

The 9-page pattern includes charts for the front and back cables, as well as row-by-row written instructions for the scarf. It also has a photo tutorial on turning cables without using a cable needle.

The pattern uses 2 skeins of Patons Classic Wool or a similar yardage of a comparable worsted-weight yarn, and it makes a generously long scarf.

The pattern is intended for the personal use of the purchaser, and is not meant to be used commercially.
