What does everybody need in winter? A warm hat!

This hat is designed and written for a snug fit with short crown decreases to keep you warm all winter long. Length can be added to the hat for a slouchier fit as well!

This fun two-color design is a fast and easy way to get inspired to do colorwork.
 
I am excited to be doing this collaboration with Eva of Seismic Yarn for Stitches West. Eva is a San Francisco-local indie dyer. Her fun, saturated hues are a great way to play with color. I used Seismic Butter Sock DK for this pattern, and it was amazing to work with. It has a lovely stitch definition and a lofty soft hand. I encourage you to check out her beautiful yarns to keep you warm this winter.
