SAZAE is a Japanese word meaning “Turban Shell”.
Why turban shell? It’s because my husband said the stitch pattern is funny and it looks like “sazae” …

This pattern contains two decrease options to create different finishing looks. The first one is a ‘knit all’ option giving a stockinette look, and the second is a more textured one with a garter stitch finishing (thus, knit and purl are involved).
