Scaley Cowl
Knit cowl with scale pattern.
The “Scaley” cowl is fun to knit and fun to wear! The innovative scale pattern is much easier to make than it seems.
A photo tutorial explains the technique of making several stitches from 1 as used in this pattern, a chart shows how to stagger the scale motifs in a checkerboard pattern, a row-by-row description details how to work the individual scale motifs, and the instructions explain how to put all this together. Scales are knitted with 3D effect.
