The gauge of crochet is determined by the size of the rhinestone cup chain at its base. The original design features a sparse cup chain (55-56 cups per foot, stone size 12pp (about 3.5mm). The base is formed with a double pass of single crochet, then the scallops are built off one side. The closure is a crocheted loop and crystal rondelle button. Lovely to wear with a scoop neckline.
