Everyone, meet Scampi the seal crochet pattern!

This spectacular seal is around 8” (20cm) tall when using a 2mm hook.

This pattern is more on the intermediate level, due to some of the intricasies involved.
However, if you have a basic understanding of stitches and techniques used, i’m sure you’ll be fine. Note this pattern is wrote in English and uses US terminology.

The PDF file will include all the pictures and helpful tips along the way, to help you to complete your very own Balancing Seal.

The patterns are a PDF and require Adobe reader to open them. Adobe reader is a simple to use and free to download program but if you have any problems just send me a message, I’ll help out where I can.

You will need:
Approx 50g for the main body, head and fins.
Less than 50g are needed for the secondary colours which consists of the balls and hat.
Yarn is DK weight, I used Stylecraft Special DK and Hayfield Bonus Breeze.
Finally, a pair of 12mm safety eyes.

Pattern is only available in English.
