Scandi Christmas Baubles
Nordic festive baubles with traditional Scandinavian designs including Eight-Petal Roses, Noughts and Crosses, Dots and Flower motifs.
The baubles are knit using the Fair Isle technique of two alternating colours in a single row. A chance to practice stranded colour work knitting before trying a larger item such as a jumper whilst creating some homespun decorations for the Christmas tree. Instructions are given knitting the baubles flat or in the round on double-pointed needles.
For some quirky and fun festive decorations, try the Christmas Dinner Amigurumi.
Other Materials Required:
- a darning needle (for sewing up)
- a crochet hook
- leftover yarn to make a pompom to fill the bauble or toy stuffing
