This sweater is a good first venture for the intermediate knitter familiar with stranded knitting and wishing to pursue a larger project. The body and sleeves are constructed separately, bottom-up in the round, and then joined at the chest level before completing the upper yoke. Stranding can occur over 5 stitches but catching every 3rd or 4th is recommended. Except for one row in Chart 2 of the yoke, where three colors are stranded, only one or two colors are carried over a row. The only seaming is grafting the underarm area of body to sleeves. Sleeves can be long or short, or even ¾ length. Additional embedded “Notes” suggest ways to adjust length and circumference for personal fit and ease.
