Scarborough Spa
The original sweater was worked in pieces from the bottom up and sewn together. A cabled collar was knitted sideways and sewn on, and this element is used in the modern version too. The modern interpretation is worked in the round from the bottom up, with the front and back separated and worked flat then joined at the shoulder with a 3 needle cast off. Sleeves are worked using the top-down set in sleeve method
All charted stitch patterns are also provided as written instructions.
Yarn: baa ram ewe Titus, shown in Bramley Baths. 4 (4, 4, 4, 5) {5, 5, 6, 6} skeins.
Sizes XS (S1, S2, M, L1) {L2, XL, 2XL, 3XL} with finished bust measurement 71 (78.5, 86.5, 94, 101.5) {106.5, 114.5, 124.5, 132}cm / 28 (31, 34, 37, 40, 42, 45, 49, 52)“. 0-5cm/0-2” positive ease is suggested.
Other supplies: stitch markers, two locking stitch markers, scrap yarn, cable needle.
