With this WhimZ B original crochet pattern, you can create this cute decorative scarecrow who is ready to welcome Autumn.

This pattern has minimal sewing and is for the advanced beginner. This 10 page pattern contains detailed instructions with photos.

The finished size of your shelf sitter will depend on the yarn you use as well as your tension and also which hat you choose to use. If you follow the recommendations in the pattern, your finished project (without the hat) should be approximately 12in H x 4in W (at the widest point.)

Supplies:

Hook: F (3.75mm)
Yarn: 4-Medium weight in Worsted/ 4-Medium weight in colors for flesh, straw, shirt, overalls, boots, nose and facial features. You can use any yarn you would like, but baby, sport or other fine yarns are NOT recommended.
Stuffing
Plastic canvas
Plastic safety eyes, 12mm
Weights to insert into doll base (Poly Pellets & something to put them in, or glass stones from the Dollar Tree
Yarn needle
Stitch Marker
Optional: 6 in straw hat. Mine is Marigold Market brand from Hobby Lobby
