This pattern is available for free.

This plain beanie and scarf can be mixed with lots of different colors and clothes. Very easy to knit.
I used Marvel 4 seasons acrylic 8ply with 2mm needles for beanie and 3.25mm for the scarf. Any other similar yarn will work too. Only a small amount is needed, so leftover yarn is perfect.
