Marlene Miller designed the Scarf and Mitts knitting pattern as a low level difficulty (2/5) pattern based on knit stitch variations. The pattern makes a scarf with fringe tassels at one end, and a bead at the other. The mitts are fingerless, and one size will fit most. The measurements of our sample pieces are listed below, to give an indication of finished garment sizes:

Scarf:
length: 110cm (excluding tassels)
width: 10cm

Mitts:
underside length: 8cm
top length: 17cm
wrist circumference: 14cm (measured flat, unstretched)

This is a downloadable pattern. We also sell kits which include the required materials in our etsy store (BeautifulSilks).

To knit the scarf and mitts you will require:
25g of 2mm Silk Ribbon Yarn (83m)
25g of 4ply Silk Yarn (61m)
A pair of 3.25mm needles
A bead of approximately 1cm diameter
