PATTERN
This is a joyful and easy project for a colorful scarf for kids.
The scarf is knitted diagonally and alternates stripes of contrasting colors. Perfect for knitting with yarn leftovers - the more colors you have, the funnier it gets.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
approx. 20cm x 1.15m (8“x45”)
Please note - the scarf can be easily customized to any individually preferred width and length.

YARN & YARDAGE
approx. total yardage of 375m/410yards in DK weight
Individual yardage per color depends on your chosen number of contrasting colors and the repeat/sequence of colors.

The sample is knitted with one base color (195m/214yards) and 12 contrasting colors (180m/197yards in total)

MATERIAL
-3.5mm (US4) circular needles
Please note - although DK weight usually calls for 4mm (US6), I suggest knitting with smaller needles in order to obtain a tighter texture.
