It’s summer, and for the lovely, warm evenings airy loose scarves and shawls are just perfect!
The scarf Skaia is crocheted very quickly, the pattern repeats after a few rows and goes well into memory. It features an airy pattern of front post and back post double crochet stitches and chain stitches, small and larger braids alternate with a cute leaf pattern.
The scarf can be crocheted in any width and length, exact information is included in the instructions, how to widen the scarf.
The pattern is intended for a bit advanced crocheters, absolute beginners might have difficulties. You should for sure be familiar with front post and back post double crochet stitches.
The pattern includes a written description of ech row, a crochet chart, and also a tutorial for the used front post/back post stitches, including many photos.
Following stitches are used:
- chain stitch
- double crochet
- triple crochet/treble
- front post double crochet
- back post double crochet
- increase
- decrease
The scarf shown on the pictures has following dimensions: 175 cm x 40 cm.
Width and length can be adjusted without any problems.
Following tools are needed:
- Crochet hook 3.5 mm
- Scissors
- Sewing needle for sewing the loose ends
- optional: stitch marker
- Pins for stretching of the scarf
You may sell scarfs made with this pattern, as long as you have made them by yourself and mention me as designer of the pattern. You are not allowed to sell the pattern, further distribute it or publish it (also not parts of it).
