(1) The scarf used in the photos measures 50 inches (length) by 10 inches (width) but you can use a larger or smaller scarf if desired. Another option is to crochet (using the double crochet stitch) a long rectangle that is 50” x 10” and use that to replace the scarf.

(2)This tam should comfortably fit the average adult head circumference (22 inches - 24 inches). For a larger or smaller hat feel free to increase or decrease the hook size.

(3) If needed you can place a stitch marker at the start of each round and the move marker up after completing each round (this is optional and would best suit beginning crocheters).
