Knit in the round in a simple textured stitch, the bright oak leaves are knit separately and sewn on later. A cute acorn tops it off.

THE BASICS

• Instructions are for knitting in the round on circular and double pointed needles

SUPPLIES YOU’LL NEED

• Approx. 90 to 180 yds (82 to 165 m) DK or light-worsted weight yarn depending on size made

• Several yds (m) Sport or Fingering weight yarn for leaves and acorn

• U.S. size 6 (4 mm) 12” (for 3 smallest sizes) or 16” circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge

• U.S. size 6 (4 mm) double pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge

• U.S. size 2 (2.75 mm) double pointed needles

• Stitch markers

• Yarn needle

• Small amount of fiberfill stuffing (for acorn)
