This stylish SCATTERING OF LEAVES cushion pattern uses simple overlay mosaic crochet techniques and comes in two different sizes. It was designed to mimic autumn leaves and is an adaptation and extension of the GARLAND OF LEAVES scarf pattern. It is worked in the round, so no ends to take care of!
This cushion can be made as a small 12” x 12” version or larger 15” x 15” options. The pattern includes written instructions, charts and some helpful hints and tips to make your project easier. You will also get instructions on stitch formation and placement and how to read the chart. The instructions describe how to make a fixed cover (no fasteners), but a zipper, snap fastenings or any other method can be used if the cushion pad needs to be removed in future.
This is considered an EASY pattern and so is ideal for the adventurous mosaic crochet beginner.
Terms used are in US notation. However, it is easy to convert to UK style.
