Scenic Route Cowl
The Scenic Route Cowl begins as many knitting adventures do--with a provisional cast-on. As you traverse miles of smooth stockinette, you will leave behind a meandering breadcrumb trail of purl bumps to help you find your way back home. Once you reach your destination, the ends are grafted together to create a cowl.
But the journey doesn’t end there. You will retrace your path and pick up the breadcrumbs as you knit a decorative I-cord. Choose two colors of worsted weight yarn with low to moderate contrast if a relaxing drive suits you best; choose colors with high contrast if you’re up for a joyride.
Life is a highway. Enjoy the ride.
