ABOUT THIS PATTERN:

Want a quickly knitted Christmas hat with super soft yarn? Nothing easier than that! This pattern is suitable for beginners and anyone who still needs the right hat for a visit to the Christmas market. And a great idea for a last minute present, of course!
This hat is knitted in the colours Rotweinfleck and Naturschönheit on the Merino 100% ARAN yarn base. A fantastically soft single yarn, which is extremely soft and knitted with thick needles.
You will receive download links for two pdf-files: the pattern in German and in English. Each 4 DIN-A-4 pages long.

TECHNIQUES:

• knit and purl
• knit 2 stitches together
• knitting in the round (using circulars and double pointed needles)

YARN:

• Merino 100% ARAN
• about 80g of Rotweinfleck (red)
• about 30g of Naturschönheit (white)

NEEDLES:

• 1x 4.5 mm (US 7) 40cm (16’’) circular needle
• 1x 5.0 mm (US 8) 40cm (16’’) circular needle 1x 5.0 mm (US 8) double pointed needles or sizes you need to obtain gauge

NOTIONS:

• stitch marker to mark beginning of round
• scissors, darning needle

GAUGE:
18 sts x 24 rds (stockinette with larger needle size, in the round)

SIZE:
one size fits all adults
