Schieffelin
Schieffelin pullover is a slight A-Line shape with slim sleeves that are flattering on a variety of body types. Instructions are given for two versions. A modern, slight A-Line body and a split hem with ¾ length sleeves (shown) or a traditional straight body and full length sleeves. Both versions are worked seamlessly and in the round from the top down.
The highlight of this simple but elegant pullover is its garter stitch mosaic yoke. Mosaic knitting is a great way to create bold graphical elements without stranded color work. In mosaic knitting rounds are worked in pairs, two rounds using the same color. The first round work as indicated in the chart. On the second round, using the same color, you purl the same sts you knit in the previous round, and slip the same sts you slipped. Choose two colors of yarn with lots of contrast for best results.
