Das ist ein Hebemaschenmuster, d.h. man strickt in jeder Runde nur in einer Farbe.
Die unterschiedlichen Größen werden verschieden erreicht:

• 38/39 normales Muster
• 39/40 Muster, dass in den blauen Kreuzungen durch mehr Maschen eine weiße Masche ist
• 40/41 durch dickere Sockenwolle

This is a mosaic pattern, therefore you knit only with one colour per round.
You get the different sizes through different methods:

• 38/39 normal pattern
• 39/40 pattern with a little more stitches, so there will be a white stitch in the blue crossing
• 40/41 with thicker sock yarn
