You will need one skein of each color.

Note: This pattern assumes you know to cast on and off, knit and purl and also can form a slip knot.
Carry yarn between changes When changing colors, don’t cut the yarn; instead bring the active yarn underneath the idle yarn when knitting at the end of the row, This will carry the yarn alongside of the project and it will be available when you’re ready to knit with it.
This method is best used when there are not a lot of rows between color changes.
