Here in Maryland, our kids start school the day after labor day. With tomorrow being their first day of school, I thought it would be fun to make school themed crochet bookmarks for teacher gifts. It’s hard to believe that my kids are already going into seventh, second and first grades.

These patterns make great bookmarks. You could also use them as appliques and sew them onto other crochet items. Choose from the pencil, ruler or bookworm. Or, make all three!
