Beschreibung:
Romantisches Tuch in langgezogener, kurviger Sichelform. Durch die besondere Art der Zunahmen ist das Tuch an den Zipfeln schmal, so dass man es vorne oder im Rücken binden kann, ohne dass sich eine Menge Material aufbauscht. Im Rücken ist es hingegen halbrund und wärmt da, wo es soll.

Man kann das Tuch als kleines “Busentuch” stricken, aber auch als großes kuscheliges Modell, die Anleitung ist für 2 Größen.

Mehrere Muster machen das Stricken abwechslungsreich. Begonnen wird mit rechts-links-Mustern, dann folgt ein Zugmaschenmuster, für dass in der Anleitung eine genaue Beschreibung und kleines Fototutorial sind. Ein breiter Teil mit einem einfachen Lacemuster bringt Leichtigkeit und Verspieltheit, als Abschluss kann man ein kleines Picot Muster (ebenfalls mit Mini-Fototutorial) oder auch eine dezente Rüsche stricken. Zur Kontrolle ist nach jeder Zunahme die Anzahl der Maschen, sowie Masche für Masche die Aufteilung für das neue Muster angegeben.

Empfohlen wird ein nicht zu elastisches Material mit Baumwoll- oder Seidenanteil damit sich das Muster schön entfalten kann.

“Schwälbchen” means little swallow due to the lace pattern I used in the end. It is a romantic shawl with a special shape: long drawn edges and a half-circled back. You form the shape through special increases which are described in the pattern. The increases are hidden in a little lace pattern. After each increase the number of stitches which should be on the needle is given, so you can proof if everything is ok before you start the next pattern.

The first rows of a new pattern are described stitch by stitch and there are diagrams with repeats. For the “pulled” stitches above the lace part there is a little phototutorial. Its a very easy but decorativ pattern.

You can knit the shawl in any yarn,but it should not be too elastic. A yarn with linen, cotton or silk is recommended. Pattern contains 2 sizes so you can as well use a finer or a thicker yarn.
