Scollay Square is reversible when worked in a solid, and can be worn with the brim down for a slouch hat, or turned up for a beanie. The striped version is written with a shorter crown.

The striped version uses about 70-140 yards/30-65 grams for the MC, and 45 yards/20 gr for the CC.

This hat uses a very stretchy stitch pattern, and the stitch count for gauge can vary depending upon fiber used.
