A lace-inspired motif crochet pattern, by contemporary artist Kristen Stein, for a scoopneck top with scalloped edge and arm. A romantic top with beautiful drape. The pattern includes an optional belt that lets you draw in the waist using any of the symmetric chain spaces as belt loops.

Finished Size

Laid flat, the garment measures 16” wide at the neck, 25” wide at the hem. Total length is about 23 inches from top to bottom of pointed petal. It is a “one-size-fits-most” pattern. For a smaller size use a 5.0 mm hook and omit Round 5 of the Motif pattern. For a medium, you can decrease the hook size to 5.0 or 5.5mm, or omit Round 5 of the pattern. The open crochet and lace construction allows for stretchability.
