A few fast facts about the Scotch Broom Crop:
1.) There’s only a tiny bit of seaming involved, across the top of the shoulders, which allows the knitter to easily make the neckline as wide as desired. It’s easy to mattress stitch the icord cast on: Video Link
2.) The stitch pattern is 100% knitted! We modified a crochet stitch to be a knit one instead, it’s called Broomstick Lace! The only tools you’ll need are your knitting needles!
3.) Minimal Purling is required
4.) As always, the pattern will include video tutorials for all special stitches and techniques used in the design so it’s fun for everyone, from beginner to advanced knitters!
Yarn Description: Our samples were knit with Ritual Dyes Crone; a 100% Superwash Merino Wool in a smooth and silky single-ply fingering weight. This yarn is deliciously soft with a gentle, glowing halo and an exquisite drape.
