Scotch Mule Socks
Pattern is written to take advantage of the characteristics of two different handspun yarns: lambswool for the leg and adult for the heel and foot.
Approximately 95 yds of lambswool and 145 yds of adult wool were used of the yarn spun. The lambswool has 16 wpi, the adult, 14. However, the yards per pound put lambswool into sport weight category and the adult into worsted.
