This little Scottie dog hot water bottle cover is knitted mostly all in one piece, starting at the back, with decreasing and increasing at the bottom, and then working up to the top of the front.
The small section at the back that forms the envelope opening, and the ribbed funnel are knitted separately.
It folds into place before sewing side seams.

There is a little finishing off by hand sewing for the face.

You will only need one 100 gram ball of standard chunky/bulky yarn, (157 yards per ball), for the bottle, plus a small quantity of black and grey for the dog.
