This is a modern half-circle shawl with beautiful lace detail and garter stitch inspired by a Scottish garden.

The shawl is knitted flat with 4mm (6US) needles. It is worked in garter stitch with increases along the side edges of the shawl to create the half-circular shape. There is an eye-catching band of lace flower detail before the moss (seed) stitch border edging.

The blocked measurements of the shawl are width 61” (155cm) by length 23” (58.5cm).

The wrap is knit with sport weight yarn, Susurro, Malabrigo, (50% mulberry silk, 25% merino wool, 25% linen), 100 grams/325 yards (297 meters), in:

• 2 balls (total of 594m (650 yards)) of Sunset (096) colour

The Susurro Malabrigo yarn has a beautiful rustic feel and lovely drape which is perfect for this shawl design.
