Scottish Thistle
Scotland always has a special place in my heart as it is definitely one of the most beautiful countries on the earth and I miss the time we studied at Glasgow dearly from time to time.
When I saw this lovely textured lace stitch pattern, it reminds me very much of the beautiful Scottish Thistle, and I knew right then I have to make a lace shawl using this stitch.
Scottish Thistle is a bottom up shawl that can be made in any desired sizes by adding multiple of even number of full repeats at the cast on.
