The Scottish Thistle is the floral emblem of Scotland. This Scottish Thistle Cowl is created using Tunisian crochet in the round. Pictured in FiberStash Dyeworks DK Tweed, this cowl can be made with any two colors of DK weight yarn (approximately 175 yards of each color is required). Worked in the round, the color changes are achieved through the use of different stitches that bring the pull-through yarn either to the front or the back of the work. This means that there are no yarn floats or carries in this pattern and that the wrong side, although different, looks as finished as the right side.
