Scovolino fingerless mittens
See matching hat here.
These mittens are a sister pattern to my Scovolino hat, and use the same pattern. The Scovolino lace grows up from the ribbing. The lace resembles the seed capsules in the branches of the bottlebrush plant.
These fingerless mittens are worked from the cuff up and they have an Indian thumb gusset. Scovolino pattern decorates the back of the hand. Short ribbing is made at the top of the mitten and the thumb.
