Scowloop ist eine Mischung zwischen Schal und Cowl/Loop. An einem Ende befindet sich eine Schlaufe, der Rest ist ein Strickschlauch. Die Form erlaubt zwei Tragevarianten: als Schal locker um den Hals gelegt und ein Ende durch die Schlaufe gezogen oder als Cowl um den Hals gewickelt und besonders wärmend. Zusätzlich sorgt sie dafür, dass immer nur die schöne Seite nach außen zeigt. ganz ohne lästiges Drapieren.

Die Anleitung ist ausgelegt für eine Farbe mit Ergänzungen für eine zweifarbige Variante.
Es gibt Anpassungsvorschläge für die Länge und Breite des Strickstücks.
Die Anleitung enthält Tutorials für das Überkreuzen von Fäden bei Farbwechsel innerhalb einer Reihe und für das Hochziehen von Fäden bei breiten Streifen in zwei wechselnden Farben.

Material:
270 - 300g Garn in DK-Stärke (Prototype aus Wollmeise DK)
Stricknadeln Größe 4mm (es wird in Reihen und in Runden gestrickt)
2 Knöpfe 1 - 2cm (wahlweise mehr)

Maschenprobe nach dem Waschen:
Zopfmuster in Reihen (gespannt getrocknet): 25M x 28R
Glatt rechts in Runden: 22M x 24R

Maße: 110 x 18 cm

Scowloop is a mixture between scarf and cowl/loop. It is made of two parts: a loop at the one side and a tube at the other side. The shape allows two ways to wear the Scowloop: Loosely around the neck the one end pulled through the loop or wrapped around the neck like a cowl/loop. Also, due to the shape the “nice” side is always outside.

The pattern is written for one color with additional instructions for a two colored version.
Suggestions are included for adjustment of length and width of the Scowloop.
The instruction contains tutorials for crossing threads when changing colors in one row and for pulling up threads when knitting big stripes using two colors in succession.
