Scrap-Buster Holiday Light Garland
Make a string of realistically proportioned C9-size (big outdoor) holiday lights out of leftover yarn using just a few simple stitches. These cheerful decorations will not only never burn out, but will help to use up odds and ends of yarn from your scrap bin!
1 BULB = 6 yards
1 SOCKET = 2 yards
CORD = Approx. 50 yards
The length of the garland is entirely up to you and however many bits and bobs of yarn leftovers you may have lying around. Length estimated is for a 10’ garland.
For fun variations, try making bulbs with variegated yarn, too! The pattern can also size up or down with different yarn weights and hook sizes.
